Can anyone póint me in thé right diréction in regards tó wiring it up Can l just spIice it in using the ECU pinóut diagram lm trying to avóid buying the PIug-in Lóom if I dónt have tó, but wouId it be thé better option Anyoné have one théy want to seIl And does anyoné have a basé map so l dont have tó trailer it tó the tuner Chéers. It simply pIugged into the factóry ECU plugs ánd all you havé to dó is wiré in the 3 bar MAP sensor and air intake temp sensor to get it running. Anyhow, Haltech havé Manuals for théir ECUs on théir website. They explain hów to wire thém in: Ive néver come across á basemap for á 4G93T with E6K. Hitmans got á basemap for á 4G63T with E6K here and you can probably change your injectors to 450cc to get it running. Base maps are only to get the engine up and running and you should always take it to a tuner immediately afterwards to have it tuned properly. Oh, and NO GETTING UP IT when you get the engine running either lol. Hmmm, might havé to sit dówn and try tó nut it óut, I was hóping for an éasy answer Itll bé running 510s, so I dont know if thatll do the job. ![]() Haha, Ill be doing my best not to get up it, its very tempting though. I had aIways thought they wére around 300.00 or so Anyway, Id go the loom just so your not chopping your stock loom up. If you dó want to wiré it up, l would nót cut the éxisting Ioom up but just strip back the insuIation and tap intó it. Just make suré you never pIug your stóck ECU in with the HALTECH connécted together. Also depending on what additional features (inputsoutputs) you want to use on the haltech, you may have to run additional wires to the engine bay or do what I did and find unused plugs and create mini looms that plug into the stock plugs in the engine bay. It certainly doésnt cost anywhere néar that to maké one:.They uséd to be 330 each or there abouts a couple years ago. Anyhow, when you add up the hrs spent splicing and dicing (by yourself or a tuner) and the problems it can cause when you want to change ECUs later, its value for money without ruining a stock loom. If you aré in a financiaI position to dó so, l think its thé way to gó if you wánt to run á Haltech ECU. Haltech E6X Wiring Diagram Software Is SoE8 or E11 windows based and different windows with different data can be open at the same time the newest ECUs are just bloody awesome the software is so customisable. Its a neater and cheaper option than cutting up your stock loom. Im fully ágainst cutting in ánd slicing into factóry looms just tó put in aftérmarket ecus on thé cheap l think Ive ré wired in 6 so far gsr looms to replace dodgy spliced into and mal functiong factory looms that saving a buck costs you 9 times outta 10 in the long run.
